Ashley Mott is a Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), who received her Master of Science in Forensic Science with an emphasis in toxicology in 2009 from Sam Houston State University, and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies in 2011 from Texas Tech University. Ashley is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Ashley works alongside Dr. David Freidberg as part of the Urology Austin Advanced Prostate Cancer Care Team. This team manages patients with prostate cancer recurrence after initial local therapy such as robotic prostatectomy or radiation. Care approaches include newer medical oncolytics (Xtandi, Zytiga, Erleada, Nubeqa and Yonsa) and immunotherapies (Provenge).

Prior to joining Urology Austin, Ashley Mott spent over seven years practicing as a Physician Assistant in Family Medicine, treating a wide variety of medical conditions. She is excited to be working closely with Dr. David Freidberg who specializes in prostate cancer, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH or enlarged prostate), urinary incontinence, hypoandrogenism, urinary tract infections, and kidney stones. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children.
