Urology Austin

Dr. Richard Garza

My review refers specifically to Dr Richard Garza and his wonderful team at The Austin Center for Radiation Oncology. I accompanied my husband for each of his 39 treatments; we have nothing but the highest praise for every single person working in this practice. We have had considerable experience with medical practitioners on 5 continents,

Dr. Naresh “Vic” Desireddi

Let me start by saying, having to see a Urologist was NOT on my list of things to do, but when you end up in the ER for a kidney stone you don’t really have a choice. I was referred to Dr. Desireddi from the ER in Cedar Park. The office was easy to find and there is ample parking.

Dr. Peter Ruff and Dr. Steven Pickett

I am so thankful my choice for acute medical care was handled by Dr. Ruff and Dr. Pickett at Urology Austin.  They are exactly what you want before, during and after a medical emergency, as well as a routine care and surgery.  Extremely smart, calm, thorough and empathetic.  Dr. Ruff performed surgery using the DaVinci robot.

Dr. Peter Ruff

Just a quick note on Dr. Peter Ruff because I believe in feedback. At the age of 44, after an ACL reconstruction surgery and over a period of 5 years, I had urinary urges, pain in my groin, pain in my butt cheek, pelvic pain at the sexual climax, sometimes pain down my leg, then I had a fissure issue (due to being a tight a$$).

Dr. Jeff Kocurek

Dr. Kocurek is very competent and a straight shooter. I really appreciate his ability to clearly explain the situation and make a recommendation that’s best for you, which in my case was to refer me to another doctor with a specific speciality for me. Dr. Kocurek was also my dad’s doctor and he’s an excellent surgeon.

We ended up at Seton’s emergency care that evening. Even though Dr.

Dr. Carl Bischoff and Staff

When we called Dr. Bischoff’s office, we were in panic mode as my husband was barely able to void. Yarnell, his office assistant , very professionally was able to calm me down after hearing desperation in my voice.  She made it possible for us to be seen ASAP and Dr. Bischoff agreed to take over my husband’s complicated case.

Dr. Herb Singh

After a missed diagnosis with another doctor and chemo treatments at MD Anderson, we were please to find Dr. Singh close to home to have the surgery done.  While the office is very busy, Dr. Singh takes time to answer all questions.  Both he and his staff are very professional, warm and caring.  We have been very pleased with the care given and confidently refer other patients to him knowing they will receive the same personalized care we have.

Dr. John Williamson and Dr. Peter Ruff

I highly recommend Drs. Williamson and Ruff.  I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September 2014.  After discussing the finding and treatments with Dr. Williamson, I elected to have a prostatecdomy.  Dr. Williamson referred me to Dr. Ruff, who would perform the surgery using Di Vinci machine at Austin’s St. David’s Hospital.   My major concerns were the surgery complications,
