Lucy Bush, DNP, APRN, FNP-C is an advanced practice registered nurse and a family nurse practitioner at our Austin urology practice. She believes in working with patients to listen to their concerns before helping them select the best treatment plan. Patients appreciate her caring and collaborative approach to urology care.

Lucy Bush has an impressive background in the medical field

For her Bachelor of Science in nursing, she graduated magna cum laude with honors from The University of Kansas. She then attended the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing. There, she graduated magna cum laude with honors again when earning her Doctorate of Nurse Practice in family nurse practice.

Before joining our Austin urology practice, Lucy Bush worked as a traveling registered nurse in surgical services at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital. Prior to that role, she worked as a registered nurse in Dallas. Specifically, she worked at Parkland Hospital and Baylor University medical center. As a result, she has healthcare experience in emergency medicine and critical care recovery.

Interests inside and outside of Urology Austin

In addition to general urology, Lucy has a special interest in BPH management, prostate cancer detection and overactive bladder treatment.

When she isn’t treating patients at our Austin urology practice, Lucy enjoys spending time outside with her dog Pogo. She also enjoys reading, traveling and cheering on the University of Kansas Jayhawks. Additionally, she volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas.
