Ashley Blackshare is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) who received her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in August 2019. She also holds two Bachelor Degrees: Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Magna Cum Laude).

Prior to completing her education as a Nurse Practitioner, Ashley worked as a Nursing Supervisor at the Dell Children’s Medical Center in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She also has experience in Urgent Care and Family Medicine. Ashley has certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner, in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CPR.

Ashley works under the supervision of Dr. Miranda Hardee, and is currently seeing patients at our Jollyville, Westlake and Round Rock #2 locations. As a past patient of recurrent UTIs and kidney stones, Ashley has a personal understanding and empathy with patients experiencing these conditions. As a native Austinite, Ashley is excited to be a provider at Urology Austin in order to help Central Texans with their urological healthcare needs.
