Dr. Miranda Hardee completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Biology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She continued her studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Medicine. Afterwards, she completed her urology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is Board Certified in Urology.

Dr. Hardee enjoys caring for both male and female patients and treating all urologic diseases. She takes great pride in helping patients overcome their urologic problems and restoring their quality of life. She has specific interests in treating kidney stones, urinary incontinence, enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, and low testosterone. She also has a strong interest in female urology and treating problems such as recurrent urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, and pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Hardee is licensed to prescribe medical cannabis for diagnoses of spasticity and cancer history.

Dr. Hardee has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented research at national and international meetings on multiple urologic topics. Her research includes management of traumatic kidney injuries, decreasing prostate biopsy related infections, and evaluating the evidence for robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy.

Dr. Hardee has been recognized as a ‘Top Doctor’ under the category of Urology in the January 2020 – January 2024 editions of Austin Monthly Magazine. Dr. Hardee has also been recognized as a “Top Doctor for Women” under the categories of Urogynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Urology in the October 2020 edition of Austin Monthly Magazine.

I have seen Dr. Hardee for 6 years for treatment of interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome. I originally came to her as a follow up for kidney stones after a terrible experience with different urologist. I had been to a few doctors, of different specialties, and no one could tell me what was causing my pain. Dr. Hardee, took the time, listened and worked with me to not only get a diagnosis but kept working with me through the years to find treatments that worked for me. At one point she even called me herself to give me the results of a CT scan when I thought I might have another kidney stone while she was out of the office on vacation. LOVE Dr. Hardee. She helped me overcome fears that I shouldn’t have even had. I’m high-anxiety with my health and she calmed me by talking to me about everything and in the end everything was ok! Dr. Hardee performed a cystoscopy, making sure I had no internal issues. The procedure was painless. She made me comfortable during both visits, and she is very knowledgeable in prostate issues. The source of my condition is chronic pelvic floor tension from stress. It was causing the same symptoms as chronic prostatitis, and loss of sensitivity on my penis. For the solution, she sent me to Dr. Sauder for physical therapy. After one visit to therapy, followed by at home instructions, I had Major improvement in sensitivity! I'm scheduled for several visits and very confident in this therapy and Dr. Sauder. Thank you for the referral Dr. Hardee! It was the right move.
