Marco Carlos is the Clinical Care Director at Urology Austin. As Director, he currently oversees our  Overactive Bladder, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, Prostate Cancer , and Advanced Prostate Cancer Patient Navigation Programs. Prior to taking this leadership position, Marco was promoted in March 2021 to Director of Patient Navigation and in 2017 to the role of Oncology Certified Patient Navigator on Urology Austin’s Advanced Prostate Cancer Care Team.

Marco Carlos is a member of the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators, and received his certification as an Oncology Patient Navigator – Certified Generalist in November 2018. Marco received his Medical Assisting education from Allied Health Careers and completed coursework designed for Patient Navigators from The George Washington University Cancer Institute. Along with being an Oncology Certified Patient Navigator, Marco is a trained Medical Assistant with over 16 years in Urology.

Originally from El Paso, Marco grew up in Austin, where he lives with his wife and daughter. He enjoys fishing with his family, playing sports, and looking forward to football season every year.
