Bryan Kansas, MD sees both male and female patients, but has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. In the course of his practice, Dr. Kansas has distinguished himself, in Central Texas, as a leader in penile implant surgery for erectile dysfunction – having implanted over 1,200 penile prosthesis since beginning his medical practice. He is also well known for his interest in the treatment of low testosterone in both men and women — maintaining a philosophy of educating patients about the causes of Low T; tailoring treatment options with patients for best outcomes, and teaching patients to administer their own injections when applicable.

Dr. Kansas has been designated as a Center of Excellence for Inflatable Penile Prosthesis for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction.

Along with his areas of special interest, Dr. Kansas practices general urology, and routinely sees patients for male incontinence, Peyronie’s disease (penile curvature), premature ejaculation, enlarged prostate, complex kidney stone disease, and diseases of the kidney. Dr. Kansas is also certified in the placement of the InterStim® sacral nerve stimulator device for refractory overactive bladder.

Dr. Kansas has been recognized as a ‘Top Doctor’ under the category of Urology in the January 2020, 2021 and 2022 editions of Austin Monthly Magazine. Almost six years ago, during a prostate surgery to improve urine flow, Dr. Bryan Kansas discovered a bladder cancer, which he removed. Follow up showed one recurrence, again removed. I was examined quarterly, then semiannually, now annually, for recurrence, and none has been found. These doctors run a great practice. My follow-ups have been prompt, swift, and painless. My wife uses another doctor in the practice, also happy. Heartily recommend them.
