She also earned a Masters in Biological Sciences from the Louisiana State University. Her research experience includes working with NASA researching extreme bacterial diversity found in the Atacama Desert in Chile.

While female urology is her primary focus, she does work with both male and female patients. Her areas of interest include chronic pelvic pain or Interstitial Cystitis, urinary incontinence, InterStim reprogramming, overactive bladder, and recurrent urinary tract infections.
