Valerie Guzman

Valerie Guzman is the Patient Navigation Manager at Urology Austin. As Manager, Valerie oversees our Overactive Bladder, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and Prostate Cancer/Advanced Prostate Cancer navigation programs.

Valerie started at our practice in 2008 as a Medical Assistant after receiving her Medical Assistant Certification from Western Technical College in El Paso. In 2019, Valerie was promoted to the role of Prostate Cancer Patient Navigator, and in November 2021, was promoted to Manager over all patient navigation. Along with her duties, she continues to assist men who have localized prostate cancer or prostate cancer that has recurred post primary treatment such as surgery or radiation.

Outside of the office, Valerie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, exercising, running, obstacle courses and going to church.
